Update - October 2019

NEW $100 TEST MATERIAL FOR BANKNOTE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS

New $100 production banknotes are expected to be available from late November 2019 for calibration purposes for banknote equipment manufacturers. These banknotes are part of the first print run that will be issued into circulation in late 2020.

If you are a banknote equipment manufacturer and have a signed Banknote Loan Agreement with us, you will receive a separate email with instructions for placing orders. If you have not received this email, or would like more information about joining our program, please contact our Industry Engagement Team at IndustryEngagement@rba.gov.au.

$100 banknotes from another print run will be made available for testing purposes in mid-2020.  They will be from a larger print run with more production variation, and have a different signature block and year of print. Further information about the new $100 banknotes for machine users, including retailers and commercial banks will be made available around this time.
