Request for input

RBA cash-handling industry stakeholder survey

As we near the end of the next generation banknote project (NGB project), our Industry Engagement Team is reviewing our communication and stakeholder engagement activities and planning for future opportunities. The purpose of the attached survey is to obtain feedback from the cash-handling industry about your experiences during the release of the new series of banknotes, along with suggestions for how we can work together in the future.

We would greatly appreciate your input and invite you to complete this 15-20 minute survey. Please note that you may exit the survey at any time by not responding.

Others in your organisation may also have received this request – you may complete this survey individually, or work with others in your organisation for a collective response.

Please return completed surveys by 24 July 2020 via email to our Industry Engagement Team at

The results of the survey will be used to inform our future planning and engagement activities to ensure we continue to support the needs of the cash-handling industry. The survey data will be stored securely by the Reserve Bank under restricted access. Aggregated and de-identified survey results may be shared with the cash-handling industry via our Industry Update emails.

If you have any questions, or would like to participate in a follow up discussion to share more information about your organisation’s needs, please contact us at

Thank you in advance for your time, we look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

RBA Industry Engagement Team
