Welcome to Spring 2021, !

As we all learned last fall, asynchronous classes (those classes that don’t meet face to face, even online) take some getting used to. To make your spring asynchronous classes a little easier to manage, each week we will be sending you a short checklist of suggested goals or tasks for the upcoming week. These small actions are designed to have a big impact.

Kick off your semester strong with a few easy tips:

  • Make school a priority. Be sure you have enough time for your classes. (Pro-tip: This includes those asynchronous classes, assign them a time each week like a traditional class.)
  • Login to Blackboard and Canvas, then click around and explore!
  • Read through all your syllabi.
  • Mark important dates on your calendar.

Want more tips before next week’s email? Check out more resources on the Campus Learning Center website.

You can contact us for personalized support at any time you need us! Just email clc@vcu.edu.

Happy start of semester from your VCU Campus Learning Center!
