About the YesVets program:

The Employment Security Department, in partnership with Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Commerce, Washington State Military Transition Council, Washington State SHRM, and local chambers of commerce across the state, have partnered to create a statewide campaign to hire veterans, supporting House Bill 2040. This bill, introduced by Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, recognizes employers who show their commitment to veteran employment by hiring veterans into their workforce.


How to participate in the YesVets program:

If you are an employer who has hired a veteran on or after Jan. 1, 2017, select the I want to participate button to provide some basic details about your company. 

"I want to participate" button

Then, each time you hire a veteran, select the I hired a veteran button to complete the new-hire details.

"I hired a Veteran" button 

Or, if you want to hire a veteran and would like to connect with your Local Veterans Employment Representative, select the I want to hire a veteran button. 

"I want to hire a veteran" button 

Finally, after you’ve notified us that you’ve hired a veteran, we will contact you to arrange delivery of your YesVets decals, to be prominently and proudly displayed at your place of business.
