Psychological Readiness and Return to Campus

A new eLearning module on Psychological Readiness and Return to Campus developed by VCU's Office of Institutional Equity, Effectiveness and Success (IES), in partnership with Human Resources’ Office of Learning, Development & Organizational Culture, will be released in Talent@VCU on June 22, 2020. This course endeavors to help each of us to become more self-aware and better prepared for the challenges inherent in change, especially as it relates to the pandemic, protests and other crises that confront us today.

This eLearning module will serve as a starting point for increased awareness of your own assumptions, feelings and thoughts as well as the opportunity to enhance your perspective-taking of others’ lived experiences. As we return to campus, we must be prepared to acknowledge and engage others where they are, while also being mindful of our positionality and the need to practice self-care. The course launches in Talent@VCU on June 22, 2020.
