There are an estimated 200 million African descendants in 19 Latin American countries and over 6 million in the US. How has the past impacted the present, especially when you consider the mixing of Europeans, Africans and indigenous peoples? Have you ever wondered how this influenced their perceptions of life? This panel discussion will broaden awareness of AfroLatine lived experiences in the US and it will address nuanced aspects of identity, culture, and society.
